Samsung has started inviting influencers and journalists for the presentation of its next folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. And some recipients of the invitation did not hesitate to share it on social networks . This is the case of Evan Blass, better known as Evleaks, who released a visual confirming the date of the event which will take place on August 10.
More than a month ago, we relayed in our columns a leak about the date of presentation of the next folding smartphones from Samsung, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4. According to youtuber Jon Prosser, the Korean firm would have decided to stall this presentation on August 10th. That is, to within a day, a year after the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Since this date seems to correspond to Samsung’s organization in 2021, the leak seemed credible.

Six weeks later, another leak corroborates the information. It comes from the leaker Evan Blass, better known under the pseudonym Evleaks. He posted on Twitter an image where he confirms that the date of the Galaxy Z conference will take place on August 10, 2022. The image he posted on the social network is a montage and not the formal invitation. It uses a Galaxy Z Flip 3 to create the “greater than” arithmetic symbol between launch date and “today.”
In a following message, he explains that his “lack of creativity is only rivaled by the name of the event”: Unfold your world. Because, obviously, the subject of the conference will be the arrival of the two folding smartphones that we have been talking about in our columns for a few months now. Jon Prosser claimed in its message posted in June 2022 that the two smartphones would not be available until August 26, but that pre-orders would start as soon as the conference ended.

Also according to Jon Prosser, the two smartphones would not be alone at the conference. The firm would take the opportunity to also present two connected watches: the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, the first available in two case sizes (40 and 44 mm) and the second in a single size (46 mm). The dates of marketing and pre-order would be identical to those of smartphones.
