A new skin has landed in Fortnite, and once again has to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Epic Games has announced the arrival of Gamora to the island, thus joining Star-Lord, who was already present in the game’s item shop. Do you want to know how to get this new skin? We will tell you.
Gamora in Fortnite
Considering that the alien invasion and abductions continue to occur on the island, Epic Games have decided to ask for help from the most angry interplanetary warrior in the entire universe. The last Zehobereian will arrive in Fortnite on next August 19, and with it, a complete pack of accessories with which to complete its presence with the corresponding pick, backpack and parachute.
To be exact, Gamora will be available from August 19 at 2:00 in the morning in the Fortnite store, however, there will be a way to get it completely free, although it will require your effort.
The Gamora Cup
With the idea of celebrating the arrival of the Marvel character, Fortnite will organize a cup with his name on August 11, and it will be in this competition where you have to participate and collect as many points as possible during ten games. You will only have 3 hours to do it, so you must be completely concentrated, since the games will have to be played practically one after the other if we take into account the time available.
The cup will be played in Duos format, and the teams from each region that score the most points will win the Gamora skin completely free. Those who get at least 8 points will win the graffiti of Thanos’s daughter as a consolation prize, so basically just for playing 8 games you will win a prize. The distribution of points is similar to that of other cups, obtaining 1 point for each casualty you cause and obtaining the following points according to your final position in the game:
- Masterful victory: 42 points
- 2nd: 36 points
- 3rd: 32 points
- 4th: 30 points
- 5th: 29 points
- 6th: 28 points
- 7th: 27 points
- 8th: 26 points
- 9th: 25 points
- 10th: 24 points

It is important to remember that to play the cup you must have two-step authentication security activated and have at least level 30 in the account, something that you can check in the Career tab within the game.
