Garming Instinct 2, the first smartwatch with “unlimited battery”

Following the recent introduction of the new epix and fenix 7, Garmin continues to expand another of its most popular smartwatch families with the announcement and launch of the new Instinct 2 smartwatchessome smart watches designed to resist under any element, adding cutting-edge technology in its solar recharge variants, predicting a practically unlimited battery and autonomy.

And it is that the company ensures that these watches will have a base battery life of up to four weeks of continuous use in smartwatch mode, which, thanks to advances in the solar technology of the Instinct 2 Solar, increases to unlimited autonomy in smartwatch mode, setting a new standard for battery life not only for the brand, but for the entire market.

Although these will not be the only novelties. The new series offers better functionalities for well-being controlwith technologies like Pulse Ox, more accurate stress tracking and sleep monitoring, and various smart features such as application notifications or the Garmin Pay contactless payment system. As for the health functionalitiesnow users will be able to get breathing monitoring, sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle and pregnancy, as well as other more basic functions such as the heart rate monitor or pedometer.

Garming Instinct 2 Colors

Going back a bit, we cannot ignore the new design of the Instinct 2 series, which introduces a slimmer design and two size options with a bezel, with a more traditional 45mm base model, and the new Instinct 2S, with a smaller 40mm bezel, providing a more comfortable fit for those with smaller wrists.

Also noteworthy is the presence of a new high-contrast monochrome display, easy to read, and with a durable fiber-reinforced polymer case and chemically-strengthened glass, this device is built to last. Finally, paying homage to the rugged and adventurous spirit of the Instinct series, the new Instinct 2 has been built to military standards for thermal resistance and submersibility up to 100 meters.

Currently we can already find the new Instinct 2 available through the official Garmin website, with prices starting from 349.99 euros of the base model, and up to 499.99 euros for the Instinct 2 Solar.
