GeForce Now adds 20 new games in June

We start month, and NVIDIA has already told us at least part of its plans for GeForce Now. And I say that “at least part” because this would not be the first or the second time in which, in addition to what has already been planned and made public at the start of a month, during the month it surprises us with new announcements that are always in line with substantially improve the service, be it agreements with third parties, special offers, arrival on new platforms, etc.

Precisely in this last regard, you will remember that a few days ago we told you that NVIDIA has confirmed the full compatibility of GeForce Now with Logitech G Cloud, a portable console specially designed for the world of cloud gaming, right? Well, if you are one of the users who have been attracted by this new proposal from Logitech, and you wonder what the experience offered by the NVIDIA service to play in the cloud will be like, then you are in luck, and it is that everyone willGamers who get a G Cloud before June 22 will get a free month of GeForce Now priority account.

Let’s talk about the games, specifically those that will reach the service throughout this month of June, and there are no less than 20, among which we find both new releases and titles that have been on the market for some time. And although it is a bit difficult to choose among so many offers, the most noteworthy thing is that the collaboration signed between Microsoft and NVIDIA for cloud gaming continues to bear fruit, and this time it does so with the arrival of GeForce Now what is probably the most beloved real-time strategy saga: Age of Empires.

GeForce Now adds 20 new games in June

Yes, you read it right, the last four versions of the titles of the Age of Empires saga, in its Definitive Collection version of Steam, will be added to NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform, and will of course do so with full compatibility with the latest content, seasons and updates, such as the recent “Return of Rome” expansion. As with the rest of the titles, all types of accounts (including free ones) will be able to enjoy these games on the service (as long as they have them in their library, you know) but, thinking about my personal experience, I think the minimum To enjoy a proper AoE game (that is, very long), it is necessary to have a priority account or RTX 4080, since they provide game sessions of up to six and eight hours respectively.

With respect to the games that are added this weekwe find the following:

  • System Shock (New Release on Steam)
  • Killer Frequency (New release on Steam, June 1)

If you want to know more about System Shock, which has also already received support for DLSS 2, I recommend the analysis that my colleague Isidro did, it will clear all your doubts… and it will probably make you want to try it.
