GeForce Now gets 4K on PC, Star Wars games, 120fps on mobile and more

Nvidia has not given any sign that it intends to slow down the evolution of its game streaming service. Proof of this is that this Thursday (5th) the company announced an update full of news for the GeForce Now. Among the highlights of the package are support for higher resolutions on PC, more fluidity on cell phones and loads of games.

GeForce Now turbocharged

Previously reserved for home equipment, the Nvidia Shield, support for 4K resolution in cloud gaming has just arrived on PC and Mac. This allows the audience that enjoys their games on the computer to finally go beyond 1440p (2K) and have much more visual fidelity with GeForce Now’s more expensive subscription plan.

The same thing goes for those who prefer their games on their cell phone screen. That’s because the service’s mobile app is now compatible with the increasingly popular 120 Hz displays, enabling 120 fps on devices like the Galaxy S22, OnePlus 9 Pro and others.
