Lucca Comics 2021, lives up to the official claim “… to see the stars again” reserving for the movie area two special film screenings that will put us in contact with many splendid stars of the current cinematographic firmament.
The new edition of Lucca Comics and Games, which will open on Friday 29 October until Monday 1 November, will once again host a rich program by QMI, which is enriched with some unmissable news such as Ghostbusters: Legacy (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Eternals And My Hero Academia The Movie – World Heroes’ Mission.

The program of the movie area of Lucca Comics 2021
On Monday 1 November, at 3.00 pm at the Astra Cinema, fans will be able to attend a screening of the new feature film Marvel Studios Eternals, in Italian cinemas from 3 November. The film follows a group of superhuman heroes who have protected the Earth since the dawn of humanity. When monstrous creatures called Deviants, believed to have long since disappeared, mysteriously return, the Eternals must come together to defend humanity once again. Eternals is directed by Academy Award®-winning director Chloé Zhao and starring a cast that includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie .
Sunday 31 October at 20.00 at the Astra Cinema it will be the turn of Ghostbusters: Legacy, the new chapter of the iconic saga produced by Sony Pictures which will arrive in theaters on November 18th.
In Lucca also the preview screenings there is also My Hero Academia. The Movie – World Heroes’ Mission (Sunday 31 October at 4.00 pm, Cinema Centrale), an anime feature film that will arrive in Italian cinemas from 18 to 21 November distributed by Nexo Digital in collaboration with Dynit.
