After the massive leak that hit Rockstar Games on GTA 6, it’s the turn of another highly anticipated title to fall victim to an unprecedented leak. Indeed, a tester of God of War Ragnarok posted on social networks about sixty images of the game, some revealing key elements of the plot. For the moment, it is not known if this leak is intentional or if it is a huge dumpling of the tester in question.
Definitely, this year 2022 has been marked by many leaks on the video game side. We obviously remember the leaks around Gotham Knights, but also and above all the hacking of Rockstar Games which resulted in the publication online of 90 GTA 6 gameplay videos.
However, we have just learned that another highly anticipated title at the end of 2022 has been the victim of a major leak. This is God of War: Ragnarok, the Playstation exclusive from Santa Monica Studio. While the sequel to the adventures of Kratos and Atreus is expected on PS5 and PS4 this November 9, 2022, the press and many gaming Youtubers have already received a code to test the game before the release.
As you can imagine, receiving the game three weeks in advance does not come without compensation. Each journalist or tester is under embargo and undertakes, under penalty of penal sanctions, to do not distribute any unauthorized elements of the game on social networks and on the webwhether it’s screenshots, gameplay videos or definitive tests.

Tester posts over 60 God of War Ragnarok images to Twitter
Visibly, a tester chose not to follow this golden rule. As reputable insider Nibellion alerted on Twitter, someone in possession of a GOW Ragnarok Review code posted more of about sixty images of the game on the blue bird. If it were still captures repeating passages already seen in the trailers, it would be fine more or less. But no, some images reveal key plot elements.
For the moment, it is difficult to know if this is an intentional violation of the embargo or a gigantic error on the part of the tester… Anyway, in order to avoid any unfortunate spoilers , we advise you to stay away from forums like Reddit or 4Chan.
