God of War Ragnarok: Sony announces a release in 2022

God of War Ragnarok has not been postponed to 2023. Following the explosion of rumors, Sony wanted to confirm the release of the video game in 2022. But, for now, the title’s marketing window is still a mystery.

Announced in 2020, God of War Ragnarök is one of the most anticipated games of the moment. In recent months, rumors about its release date have multiplied. Faced with the proliferation of postponement rumors, Blue Owlz Medic, Community Manager for Santa Monica Studio, confirmed the information on his Twitter account. “God of War Ragnarök is coming out this year”declares the young woman in a short publication.

As of now, the game’s exact release window is still unknown. According to the PlayStation Store database, God of War Ragnarök could be released around September 30, 2022. On the contrary, a retailer based in Chile assures that the game will land on PlayStation 5 from next June.
