Google cloud has allied with Minsait, Indra’s subsidiary most dedicated to technology, to jointly offer, both to public and private entities in Spain, sovereign cloud solutions with which they can carry out their digital transformation with increased levels of security and privacy, without leaving digital sovereignty aside. Minsait will be in charge of contributing its experience in the management of external encryption keys, security services, cloud infrastructure and local support. For its part, Google Cloud will provide the elasticity and agility of the public and hybrid cloud based on open source technology. Thanks to this, companies that rely on solutions born as a result of collaboration between both companies will be able to operate autonomously without having to depend on a specific service provider. In addition, the company will ensure that your data is encrypted, both at rest and when it is being transmitted from one point to another.
Apart from this, it will make the storage of their data available to its clients in a new region that will open in Madrid in 2022. Thus, the alliance between Minsait and Google Cloud will offer sovereign cloud to organizations from various sectors. Among them health, automotive, public transport and public administration.

It is not the first time that Google Cloud and Minsait collaborate in Spain. Thus, as part of their commitment to innovation and digitization of the economy, both announced in May 2021 a global strategic alliance to offer products and services for the digital transformation of companies and institutions. Another of the initiatives in which both participate is in the AI Lab in Granada, one of the most advanced Artificial Intelligence centers in Europe and in which both participate (Google Cloud as technological partner), and which recently became operational.
