Google Cloud bets on technological support programs for companies

Startups are characterized by their ability to overcome difficult challenges. In this context, Google has decided to deepen its efforts to help these companies to grow and thrive in the cloudwith the launch of new resources and mentoring programs, the celebration of the first Google Cloud Startup Summit and the expansion of its team of startup experts, in addition to other initiatives.

First, the company intends to align the Google Cloud Startup Program with Google for Startups to ensure that startups have a consistent experience across all Google products (including Google Cloud infrastructure and services) and to provide Entrepreneurs access to Google mentors, products, programs, and best practices. From now on, the program will be called Google for Startups Cloud Program.

Next up will be reinforcing Google’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs just starting out, because that’s when access to technology and the right expertise can have a big impact on their business’ growth trajectory. In their early stages, startups are in an ideal position to move quickly and solve problems, but they must be able to grow with minimal costs, change direction to seize a new opportunity, and make good use of their experiences and resources to find new markets and investors.

Supporting startup startups is a very important goal of the Google for Startups Cloud Program, and today we’re excited to announce a new offering that will make it easier for startups to access the technologies and resources they need.
