Google for Startups closed 2021 with really positive data. During 2020 he had to adapt to an unprecedented situation but was able to continue with the work that brought him to Spain in 2015: supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of our country and help you in your growth.
In 2021, growth has been remote – a formula that began in the midst of a pandemic, when the entrepreneurial community needed it most.
During the past 2021 and through training, mentoring and specific programs such as the Growth Academy, the community of entrepreneurs has felt just as supported as it was when it was operating from Campus Madrid. In fact, in this time, startups that are part of the community have garnered better growth data than those that are not yet part of the Google for Startups family.
For example, alumni startups that have raised funding have done so on average 115.9% more than non-alumni or also that the startups that have been part of Google for Startups have generated an average of 25% more jobs than those who have never participated in our programs. Also, it should be noted that the monthly income of alumni startups is 105% higher on average than that of non-alumni.
