As a general rule, when talking about Google One The first thing that many people think of is the storage service online from Google. However, the truth is that the search engine company offers much more to users who decide to opt for one of the payment plans. In this way, more and more users are attracted to this subscription model, not exclusively because of the storage and its possibilities, but also because of the other functions and services included.
The most recent example of this can be found in the VPN service included in Google One and which, after several years since its launch, has finally reached all subscribers less than two months ago, including those of the most economical levels of service, that is, even the one for 1.99 euros per month. And it is that, previously, it was only available for plans of two terabytes and higher.
Something common in the deployment of functions of Google One is that these tend to arrive first on mobile devices to, after a while, make the leap to the desktop, either through a specific application, or through its web interface, accessible through the desktop browser. This is consistent with the model mobile-first that has guided the search engine company for many years now, in many of its products and services.
Just dropped! Portrait Light, Portrait Blur, Dynamic, Color Pop, HDR, and Sky suggestions are now available for #GoogleOne members on web so you can easily edit your photos, right from your computer.

Thus, once again we find ourselves with a leap in this sense, and it is one that will be singularly well valued by many of its users. And it is that, as the company has communicated through from a tweet, some of the exclusive photo editing functions of Google One will come to the web version of Google Photos. Specifically, users will be able to use the following functions:
- portrait light: Change the position and intensity of the light source in photos with people.
- portrait blur: Blurs the background to give more prominence to the protagonist of the portrait.
- Color Pop: desaturates the background, keeping the foreground color for photos of people.
- HDR: Enhances the brightness and contrast in the entire image.
- Darling: Allows you to choose from several predefined palettes to adjust the appearance of the sky.
It does not seem, therefore, that neither the magic eraser, nor the most recent magic editor, will reach the Google Photos web interface in this first deployment. Besides, It seems that this is being carried out graduallyand it is that although they have communicated that it is now available to all users, neither in my personal case (and yes, I am a Google One subscriber) nor in others that I have found through the Internet, have they obtained access to these new Google Photos tools.
However, we can expect this deployment to be completed within a reasonable period of time and, moreover, this opens the door to the arrival of more features. At the moment, to use the ones announced today, the only requirements are to have four gigabytes of RAM and an updated browser.
