Still far from our country, it seems that the technology giant has announced today the availability of the first beta of its new Google Play Games game service for Windows, with a limited presence in Asia, currently only downloadable from Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan.
In fact, it seems that Google is determined to try to make a controlled and progressive access, linking the current registration system to the direct association with our Google account, making it more difficult to use VPNs.

A beta version that offers access to some of the most “popular” Google Play Store titles directly on PC, with titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Summoners War or Dragon Mania Legends, without the need to use a phone Android or a Chromebook computer, and while giving users more ability to take advantage of large screens. Although the most interesting thing is that, although we do not need to have our phone nearby, all the progress of our games will be synchronized in our Google account, being able to access from any of the associated platforms.
However, it should be noted that the status of the Google Play Games beta still quite early, with tremendously limited access to a few players from around the world, and with a current catalog that is still somewhat scarce compared to the many possibilities offered by the Google Play Store. Even so, it is undoubtedly a great milestone for Google. While the company has long made Google Play media services available for Windows (usually via the web), games have always been an obvious exception.
In fact, at the moment the official release date of Google Play Games is unknown, with a single advance from the company in which it was promised that it would offer details of beta versions and later expansions “very soon”, and a launch window within this year 2022.
