GTA 6: a video of the game is used in an advertisement for Goat Simulator 3

Goat Simulator 3 developer Coffee Stain North has received a takedown notice from Take-Two after using leaked GTA 6 footage in a recent trailer.

Goat Simulator 3

In a recent advertisement for the Goat Simulator 3 title, not only could typical scenes from the game itself be seen, but also footage from the massive GTA 6 leak that appeared in early 2022. As a reminder, a leaker had leaked no less than 90 gameplay videos of Rockstar’s next game, totaling several hours of gameplay.

The Goat Simulator 3 trailer begins with an NPC named Shaun who was falsely interviewed for his role as a ragdoll NPC (non-player character) in the game. According to Shaun, he dated ” the most prestigious rag doll school in the world “. However, when asked about his other occupations, Shaun replies that he has ” other things in preparation, other game worlds. You can actually see me in some footage that was leaked a few months ago. “. We can thus see him appear on video in one of the restaurants of GTA 6.

Take-Two immediately removes the video from the Internet

It didn’t take long for GTA publisher Take-Two to send out a DMCA notification to take down the video. We can now read the following message instead of the video: “ this media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner “.

For several hours now, Take-Two has been trying to delete as many videos as it can, but Internet users continue to publish it on various platforms. If you search carefully, you should therefore be able to find this advertisement before it is removed. After the takedown, the official Goat Simulator 3 Twitter account rekindled the fire with a GIF from The Simpsons, the one where Ralph Wiggum chuckles and says “I’m in danger.”

Anyway, we will have to wait several more years before we can play GTA 6. Until then, if you are too impatient, know that you can already embody the future characters in GTA 5.
