Gucci launches a case for the AirPods Max that costs $1,000

The collar costs more than the dog. This saying can be perfectly applied to the case that the fashion house Gucci has presented for protect and transport Apple AirPods Max.

We are talking about the Ophidia case, a case that is priced at $980, and is still the same design than the rest of the products to protect Apple devices that the company offers and among which we find a wallet case for iPhone 12 Pro Max, case for iPhone 12 mini, 2 cases for AirPods Pro and a case to carry headphones Beats.

The case is lined on the outside with beige and ebony GG Supreme fabric, with a brown leather trim with gold-tone hardware.

To close the case there is a band with the same mixture of canvas and leather, as well as a green and red mesh, and the double G insignia, all of which concealing a snap button closure.

Inside, to protect the AirPods Max, we find a neoprene and blue viscose lining with a print Hodiernum. A shoulder strap is also included, providing a 60cm drop that can be adjusted by the user.

Like the rest of the products that Gucci sells on the market, the firm recommends storing the case in a supplied flannel bag or box when not in use. Likewise, it also recommends avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, heat, and rain.

This new case is available through the Gucci website for $980, which is almost double what AirPods Pro currently cost. The collar costs more than the dog.
