Gunjō no Fanfare: Aniplex, with a video, announces the anime about horse racing

It is time to turn to horse racing also in the world of anime since Aniplex has announced a new original television anime titled Gunjō no Fanfare (Fanfare of Adolescence).

The announcement, which came during the television program BS Eleven Keiba Chuukei dedicated to horse racing and sports riding, it was accompanied by the publication of a promotional video on the official Twitter profile of the anime project.

Gunjō no Fanfare release date, plot and details

Gunjō no Fanfare is scheduled for release in the spring of 2022 when the anime will debut on Japanese television screens.

The story, which stars three boys from different social backgrounds, takes place in a horse racing academy that trains future jockeys. This three-year school is very competitive and those who want to enter must pass not only an academic test but also a physical and fitness test.

Yū Arimura is a very popular former idol who becomes passionate about horse racing after seeing them for the first time and the desire to attend the academy arises in him.

Shun Kanami, on the other hand, grew up on an island and knows horse racing only through radio broadcasts.

Amane Grace, scion of an English aristocratic family, is the son of a former jockey and has already attended horse racing academies in various countries around the world.

The anime will follow the stories of these three teenagers as they attend this prestigious academy.

Makoto Katō (Bloom Into You, Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace note) directs the anime at studio Lay-duce (O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad), with Hiro Kanzaki (Eromanga Sensei, EUREKA SEVEN AO, Oreimo) who is working on the character design of the characters. Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack of the Giants, The Seven Deadly Sins) is composing the music for the anime produced by Aniplex.
