Mark Gurman is usually well informed. And he just posted on his blog that the next 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros will be released this summer, between September and November at the latest.
We have been with rumors and leaks for several weeks about the new features of these two new models that are going to enter the production phase, so it is most likely that Gurman is right. It takes less to find out.
It is very likely that Apple will launch its Redesigned MacBook Pros from 14 inches to 16 inches sometime between September and November, as part of another fall season loaded with new product launches, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.
In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman writes that the new MacBook Pros will go into production in the third quarter and Apple can be expected to announce “between September and November later than”. Apple last year announced a new era MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac mini from Apple Silicon in November.
Gurman notes that Apple had originally planned to release the new MacBook Pros earlier this year, but the continuing complications surrounding the production of mini-LED they have had to delay their commercial launch.
The new MacBook Pros are expected to be in high demand thanks to several significant features and changes. In addition to a new design with flat edges and more ports, Apple plans to include mini-LED displays in the new notebooks, the same system used in the iPad Pro 12.9-inch high-end announced last April.
Apart from the new mini-LED panels, they will also mount Apple’s new ARM processors, thus providing the next MacBook Pros with some very outstanding features. It will come in two sizes: 14 and 16 inches.
