The remastered collection of Half-Life 2
Everything has been known through the SteamDB wen, the database that records any type of change on the Steam website and from where it has been possible to know that a game with the name Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection is about to get to the store. But the interesting thing is that Valve has had nothing to do with the development of this edition, however, it has approved its creation, to the point of making room for it in the store with the original seal.
Who is behind the project?
The person in charge of this fantastic work is none other than Flip Victor, a well-known modder who has already done his thing with the well-known Half-Life 2: Update, a pack of improvements that was responsible for enhancing the lights and textures of Half-Life 2 and that Valve already included in its library as a completely free official mod. Such was the impact and acceptance of this mod, that it seems that it has served to convince the company when it comes to launching the remastering that everyone has been waiting for a long time.
I have been able to confirm this projects legitimacy, being made by the former Half-Life 2: Update team.

This has been confirmed by Tyler McVicker, a well-known Valve-related news leaker who has ensured that the remastering of Episodes 1 and 2 of Half-Life 2 They will be remastered and have the consent of Valve.
What improvements does the remaster include?
At the moment it is not known what improvements will be included in this remastering, but we imagine that current technologies will be included with which to take advantage of the most modern hardware, thus offering a new experience for all those players who continue to want Half-Life.
And is that since Episode 2 concluded in 2007, Valve still owes us an answer about what happens after the death of Eli Vance, Alyx’s father, who is cruelly murdered by a ruler. Since then, the story has been completely slow for almost 15 years, and the only thing we have received about it is a prequel in virtual reality, which gave life to the fantastic Half-Life: Alyx.
At the moment the game has not appeared in the Steam library, so we will have to wait until it is finally complete and allow all those lovers of the saga to play it. Will it be paid? Most likely, yes, since it is a larger job than the Update that made the team’s work famous.
