Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary is fast approaching, and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Harry, Ron and Hermione and other cast members in a special episode: Return to Hogwarts.
Like Friends: reunion before him, Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts will allow fans of the saga to find out what the stars have been up to and what the wizarding world still represents for them since the release of the second part of Deathly Hallows in 2011. We will therefore find Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Wesley), Emma Watson (Hermione Grandger), Tom Felton (Drago Malfoy), James and Olivier Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) and all the other iconic actors in the franchise.
The release of this episode will mark the 20th anniversary of the first film in the “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” franchise. It will be broadcast in the United States on HBO Max, and in France on the VOD platform Salto. The one-off event was originally slated to air in France a day after the original release, but Salto eventually decided to change the date.

Harry Potter Return to Hogwarts will arrive faster than expected
Originally scheduled for January 2 in France, the Harry Potter cast reunion will finally arrive a day earlier, from the 1er January 2022 in France. Salto specifies that the episode will be available from 9:30 am on its platform, or almost simultaneously with the release in the United States.
In addition to the actors, fans should hear from the author of the original works. However, JK Rowling, whose repeated anti-trans comments made her a controversial figure on Twitter, was not interviewed for the show special. Instead, it rather presented in archival documents.
