He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: trailer and release date of the new CGI reboot

A bit surprisingly, Netflix released the first official trailer for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, CGI reboot of the historical series He-Man and the Rulers of the Universe.

This is a new series obviously different from Masters of the Universe Revelation and which represents the second production, in chronological order, to be made by Netflix based on the franchise born from the Mattel toy line.

As you can see from the trailer you find below, this reboot is essentially intended for a much younger audience than that of the animated series signed by Kevin Smith and available on the streaming platform for a few weeks now.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe release date

The new series will debut on the Netflix catalog on September 16, 2021 with the first season of which you can also see the Italian trailer at this address.

The streaming giant describes this new reboot on its website:

Strong teenager Adam and a heroic team of misfits uncover the legendary powers of Grayskull and discover their destiny: to defend Eternia from the evil Skeletor.

The show was made by Mattel Television con House of Cool (Kid Cosmic, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) e CGCG (Trollhunters) who took care of the CGI animation.

Executive producers are Adam Bonnett (Descendants), Christopher Keenan (Justice League, Batman Beyond) e Rob David (Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as executive producers.
