here are the games for the month of january 2022

Sony has unveiled the list of games that will be added to the PlayStation Now catalog in January 2022. We start the year with which games?

The year is off to a good start, and PlayStation Plus subscribers have already been able to find out which games will be offered in the subscription for the month of January 2022. Now it’s the turn of PlayStation Now subscribers to do the same. Here is the list of titles added to the catalog as of January 4:

  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
  • Fury Unleashed
  • Unturned
  • Super Time Force Ultra
  • Kerbal Space Program: Enhanced Edition

We are particularly excited for the title Mortal Kombat 11, the latest installment in the legendary fighting game franchise. Released in 2019, it quickly became a benchmark in the field. The franchise even inspired a new live-action movie, released earlier this year.

We also note the presence of Kerbal Space Program in the list. This is a simulation game in which you lead a team of aliens. The goal is to build rockets and spaceships in order to explore the universe … well if all goes well.

How to play these games?

As a reminder, PlayStation Now is a subscription service offered by Sony that gives you access to hundreds of games that can be streamed or downloaded. The catalog is updated every month and offers both AAA and successful indie games. The subscription is available for € 9.99 per month, € 24.99 per quarter or € 59.99 per year.

PlayStation Now set to be revamped soon

A few weeks ago, we learned from Bloomberg vital information about the next competitor to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. The alternative soon proposed by Sony should resume pkus or less the operation of PlayStation Now, and even replace the latter. For the moment, we simply know that it is called by the code name Spartacus and that it will offer the same principle as the Sony service, with the possibility of playing retro games in addition.

Obviously compared to the Game Pass, this potential competitor has a lot to worry about, but intends to compete with the best offer available on the market. No release date has yet been announced, and Sony has yet to confirm the information relayed by Bloomberg.
