Hisense Hi Reader, an eReader with a 6.7-inch screen

The Hisense Hi Reader is a new eReader that comes with a 6.7-inch e-ink screen, making it a small-sized solution ideal for those who are always on the go and need to carry a small and compact reader, but capable.

At the design level, the Hisense Hi Reader reminds me a lot of a smartphone, in fact it has that markedly rectangular touch with an elongated finish, and its interface is also similar to what we would find on a smartphone. This is totally normal, since after all the Hisense Hi Reader comes with Android 10 as operating system.

Although it comes with Android 10, the Google Play Store app store is not included. To fill that gap, the Hisense Hi Reader comes with the Aurora Store, which is an open source version of the well-known Google app store. It does not have the same number of applications available, but this is not the most important thing when it comes to an eReader.

As far as its hardware specifications are concerned, the Hisense Hi Reader has, as we anticipated, a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1,200 x 825 pixels and a capacitive touch screen. Your brain is a Unisoc T610 chip with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, it has a Mali-G52 MP GPU, it has 4 GB of RAM and it has 64 GB of storage capacity.

Its characteristics are very good for being an electronic ink reader, that does not support discussion. The rest of its specifications are completed with Android 10 as the operating system, it has a 3,000 mAh battery, it has a speaker and a 3.5 mm jack connector, and it comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. Its price varies depending on the market, and it’s a shame because in China it has a fairly cheap price, but if we want to bring it to Spain it will cost us €430.75.
