Hitachi will create different software centers in Spain and 3,000 new jobs

The big technology companies continue to bet on Spain. Now it is the turn of the Japanese company Hitachi, which through its subsidiary GlobalLogic has announced the opening of new digital engineering centers. The chosen cities are also two other trendy tech locations in our country: Malaga and Valencia.

Already last October, Arya Barirani, CMO of GlobalLogic, highlighted that Valencia would house the largest development center of the company in Spain. And that, in addition, the hiring of local engineers would prevail.

It should be noted that in the capital of Turia other reference brands have already been established or have plans to do so, such as Volkswagen, HP, Amazon, Toshiba-Mitshubishi Y siemens.

While Malaga has been chosen by Google for the construction of a center of excellence for cybersecurity within an investment of 530 million euros for the whole of Spain. and also for vodafonewhich announced a new R+D+i center with an investment of 225 million euros.

GlobalLogic’s is a strong economic investment that, in addition, will also culminate in other medium-term openings of new software centers in Madrid and Tarragona. These four new openings being the first operations centers located in southern Europe, which will help to generate around 2,500 / 3,000 new jobs over the next few years.
