The home exchange platform, together with its community, has made available to everyone those Ukrainian citizens who need it 1,246 free accommodationof which 184 are in Spain, so that they can take refuge during the war through the group “HomeExchange Solidarity”. This altruistic initiative arose at the beginning of the pandemic when HomeExchange received numerous messages from its users, who offered their homes to health and social personnel who needed it to be close to their workplaces or even quarantine.
After the good reception it had among citizens, the platform, which has more than 450,000 houses in 159 countries, decided to continue with this voluntary group and make houses available to people affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, floods… Fact that has now been transferred to the war in Ukraine.

Anyone who needs accommodation You can find it very easily: if you are already a member of HomeExchange you have to send a email solidarity@homeexchange.com with the application or search the web for the house that meets your needs using the search filter ‘Solidarity’.
If, on the other hand, you are not registered, you can register for free and, once the profile has been created, formalize the request by sending the link to the previous email indicating where you need to stay. The HomeExchange team will then contact them to find the right accommodation.
