The Huawei brand is one of those that will present news at MWC 2023 and to whet your appetite, it has announced the launch in Spain of the Honor Magic5 Lite, a good bet for the mid-range.
The high-end mobile has reached a crazy price. In addition, users have stopped renewing smartphones as frequently as before. It is not surprising that, if we add a difficult economic situation, analysts expect global sales of smartphones to fall sharply this year. The mid-range is the most attractive on the market and Honor is heading towards it with this terminal.
Honor Magic5 Lite, specifications
It is based on a curved screen with an OLED panel, multitouch, with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and FHD+ resolution. It reaches a maximum brightness of 800 nits, its maximum refresh rate is 120 Hz and its touch sampling frequency is 300 Hz.
Your engine is a snapdragon 695 from Qualcomm, with eight Kyro cores (two of them Cortex A78 at 2.2 GHz), integrated Adreno 619 graphics and a memory and storage configuration of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, respectively. The terminal is quite thin (7.9 mm) and light (175 grams) for its size and its 5,100 mAh capacity battery and 40-watt fast charge.
Its camera system presents the novelty of a ring that Honor calls Matrix Star Ring ssswhere three sensors are included, a 64MP main, a 5MP wide-angle and another for 2-megapixel macro. The front camera for selfies is 16 MP and is located in a typical hole in the middle of the screen. The fingerprint sensor is located under the screen.
The Honor Magic5 Lite preinstalls the Magic UI 6.1 interface on top of Android 12 in three color finishes, green, silver and black. It is already available on its website to reserve with delivery from March 1. Its price is 369 euroswith free financing for payment in three months and a €20 discount if you buy it under the Renove de Honor plan.
