Honor has been making a strong comeback since last year. The brand is best known for its smartphones, of course, but its laptops are also very interesting. The next one will be presented on May 16 and will have an interesting novelty: the Magic OS overlay.
This computer is the MagicBook 14, the new version of the brand’s flagship ultra-portable. She announced it in a teaser poster. No technical characteristics for the moment, but leaks and suppositions.
Magic OS, an overlay for Windows 11
What’s intriguing about this laptop is the Magic OS overlay. The MagicBook should run on Windows 11, but not only. George Zhao, CEO of Honor, said the brand wanted to offer an experience extremely close to what was done on Android smartphones.
Magic OS remains very mysterious for the moment, but the various leaks do not necessarily evoke a new user interface for Windows, but also an optimization of the OS at its heart. For the moment, this is still a little vague and we will have to wait until May 16 to get to the bottom of it. In any case, if Magic OS brings a real visual change, it could be interesting to see what the brand could offer more than the classic Windows 11 experience.

Anyway, Honor is likely to communicate a lot about this Magic OS, in particular via stickers placed on the chassis. It will indeed be on this point that the MagicBook 14 will try to stand out from the competition. The ultra-portable market is now saturated, with each brand having its own. So you have to trick in an attempt to stand out from the masses.
Regarding the PC itself, we have no information yet on what it should offer. As the name suggests, it should sport a 14-inch screen. One can also easily imagine an Intel Core processor of 12and generation within it. For the rest, we will have to wait for the announcement.
