Horizon Forbidden West is the next game from PlayStation studios. The title of Guerrilla Games is revealed in a final trailer which presents the challenges of the adventure, but also its characters.
In 2017, Guerrilla Games released Horizon Zero Dawn, an open-world adventure game with a very strong universe. Five when later, its sequel will finally arrive on our consoles: Horizon Forbidden West. Today, the title is revealed through a final trailer.
This trailer wants to make our mouths water. He presents the stakes of this sequel. Aloy, our heroine, will travel to the American West to find answers to his questions. Bad luck, it’s a land ravaged by war as well as by a mysterious evil.
Horizon Forbidden West shows its universe in a trailer
In this trailer, we also discover the characters (known or not) who will accompany him in his quest, important scenes from the story but also the new environments. Deserts, mountains, ruined cities, there will be many. We also notice sequences where Aloy is underwater, a novelty for this opus. Of course, fighting is still on the program, as is the use of machines as mounts.

Sony’s machine is set in motion for Horizon Forbidden West and communication is likely to be intense before the release. As a reminder, the game is scheduled for February 18. It’s soon ! It will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
The first Horizon is one of the major titles of the PS4. If it is quite classic in its gameplay, its rich universe, its impressive graphics and its large and varied open world have won over players. A real hit, it was then released on PC in 2020.
With this sequel, Sony fully begins its year and could definitely kick off the PS5 era. It is an important game for the manufacturer and an emblem of its brand. As a reminder, Forbidden West was announced at the same time as the PS5 in June 2020. Other major titles are planned for 2022 by the manufacturer, such as the sequel to God of War, subtitled Ragnarok.
