House of the Dragon: The series will show 17 different dragons

It is in a podcast which also talked about the new HBO series that George RR Martin, the author of the saga de A Song of Ice and Fire, is back to talk about House of the Dragon, the spin off series of game of Thrones which, apparently, will see the presence of ben 17 dragons.

There will be 17 dragons in House of the Dragon!

“I always thought it was a good story” Martin explained during the podcast, “It’s a story I like, so I can’t wait to see it come to life on screen. And of course I can’t wait for the dragons to arrive! Obviously I love dragons. We had three in Game of Thrones, but now we have 17. And hopefully each of them have their own personality, they’ll be instantly recognizable when you see them … the colors and all, because dragons have personalities in the books, and it will be great to see them live. And the dragon knights. It’s all very beautiful. “

House of the Dragon cast and details

House of the Dragon is inspired by the novel Fire and Blood by George RR Martin. The story is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of the House of Targaryen. HBO ordered House of the Dragon in October 2019, with the first 10 episodes already confirmed. George RR Martin, Vince Gerardis, Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik are executive producers on the show, with Condal and Sapochnik also serving as showrunners.
