Hovering Solutions seeks 800,000 euros for the international scaling of its drones

The startup, Hovering Solutions Spain, has launched a financing round to raise 800,000 euros for its underground infrastructure mapping project through the use of autonomous flying robots. With this movement, the company seeks to expand its resources and make the necessary investments to be able to make the international leap and offer its technology on a large scale and to other markets. Starting from a minimum ticket of 1,037 euros, 53% of the capital sought has already been achieved.

Hovering Solutions designs and manufactures aerial drones that allow high-resolution 3D scanning and mapping of underground or interior infrastructures. This DaaS (Data as a Service) company, based in Spain and the United Kingdom, has designed the robots and currently has two patents pending that protect the navigation and data capture systems.

Hovering Solutions flying robots have an autonomous navigation system that allows them to access and transit tunnels or pipes without the need for geolocation systems, lightingradio communication or pilots, something that almost no competitor worldwide offers today.

Currently, the company has a client portfolio and is financially sustainable. Leading companies in the mining, energy and water distribution industries in Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Norway have already opted for its technology. They want to make the leap to more countries of the European Union and to other markets such as the United States, Chile or Brazil, where the hydroelectric and mining sectors are leaders. In view of this international expansion and the scalability of the business, the company is in the process of developing an application that will allow customers to carry out inspections without the need for Hovering Solutions’ own technicians.
