This is a discreet and yet very practical feature of TousAntiCovid. On iPhone, the contact tracing application offers a widget allowing you to display the QR code of your vaccination pass directly on the smartphone’s home screen.
The vaccination pass (formerly health pass) has become an essential key to accessing many places open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafes, restaurants, or even interregional transport. It comes in the form of a QR code that indicates if the person has been vaccinated, if they have recovered from Covid or if vaccination is contraindicated for them.

It is a tool that has entered the daily life of millions of French people, eager to return to a more or less normal social life. If it is possible to present the QR code in printed form, the easiest way to present the vaccination pass is still to go through the TousAntiCovid application. But it is sometimes complicated to launch the app, lost in the depths of the smartphone, and to find the right section.
Yet on iPhone, it is possible to have the QR code of the vaccine pass directly on the home screen of the phone! TousAntiCovid indeed contains a fairly unknown feature: a widget is available to display the code on the iPhone without having to open the application. You must first select a certificate in the Notebook section of TousAntiCovid, then mark it as a favorite (the heart-shaped icon).
The easiest way to install a widget on the iPhone home screen is to hold your finger on the screen (between two icons, for example), then touch the “+” button at the top left , which will show you all the available widgets. Select the one from TousAntiCovid, it will automatically integrate into the iPhone home screen. You can move it wherever you want.
The next time you are asked for the vaccination pass, all you have to do is unlock your iPhone!
