On the other, HP Wolf Pro Security, a device security service designed specifically for SMEs to defend against cyber attacks, and HP Wolf Protect and Trace, which is used to locate, erase and block stolen or lost devices.

Montse Serra, General Director of HP Services and Solutions for Southern Europe; Mario Calvo, HP Service Director for Southern Europe; and Melchor Sanz, CTO of HP Iberiahave been in charge of showing the secrets of these new services, which are also designed for the hybrid work format, whose popularity has been growing since the pandemic.

According to Sierra, “the new hybrid workstyle is driving changes in the employee experience, and IT departments need to ensure it’s as optimal as possible. At HP, we’re committed to helping IT teams meet the challenges they face by enabling them to proactively identify and address technology-related issues that can improve employee experience and engagement, while the security of all corporate systems and devices is maintained«.

So with HP Proactive Insights, IT managers will be able to address the diverse management of devices and operating systems used by their company’s employees. Thanks to it, the adoption of the HP TechPulse solution, focused on helping IT departments analyze the health and optimize the performance of devices, has been facilitated in the channel. But also to measure and improve the employee experience. Access to this solution is carried out through a subscription system.

As to HP Proactive Insights Experience Management, available as an extension to HP Proactive Insights, makes it easy for IT departments to measure the perception of their employees within their IT environment. It is a fully managed service, which in collaboration with Nexthink, an employee digital experience management software company, provides a vision of the digital experience throughout the TU ecosystem.

It does this using a combination of AI-powered analytics and user sentiment benchmarking. In this way, companies can monitor the status of the digital workplace in real time. On the other hand, it is in charge of helping IT departments to be proactive in resolving technological problems that affect the employee experience.

With HP Wolf Pro Security, small and medium-sized companies will have a security service for their devices with which to defend against cyber attacks without affecting the productivity of employees. In addition, this defense also does not increase the workload of managers or IT departments. It not only prevents known security threats from penetrating devices, but also blocks unknown ones. To do this, it uses a system of reinforced layers of proactive protection that use isolation and advanced NGAV (Next Generation Anti Virus) with Artificial Intelligence technologies.

HP Wolf Protect and Trace, powered by HP Pulse, locates, locks, and wipes information from computers that have been lost or stolen. In this way, the system is responsible for avoiding data breaches due to loss or theft of equipment, a problem that can have an economic impact on companies, on average, of 4.11 million dollars per breach.

Among the measures that HP Wolf Protect and Trace allows to take is the elimination of access by unauthorized users, as well as the protection of data and the company network until the device can be recovered. If not, remotely delete all data from the computer. In this way, it prevents confidential information from falling into the hands of cybercriminals.
