HP raises the bar with its Z by HP workstations

The American giant has presented its new next-generation Z by HP desktop workstations, a family that maintains HP’s commitment to offering a high level of performance maintaining an optimal balance at the CPU and GPU leveland that is prepared to adapt seamlessly to the most demanding workloads, including from content creation to rendering, simulations, artificial intelligence, deep learning, inference and scientific research.

Power is very important when we talk about workstations, but Their management is also essential. since important aspects such as availability and possible interruptions of activity will depend on this, two keys that will ultimately determine the degree of real productivity that we can achieve by performing certain tasks, both locally and remotely.

HP knows this, and that is why it has adopted the HP Anyware Remote System Controller, a solution that we can consider as the world’s most advanced remote management software. HP Anyware offers IT administrators a single control panel with the ability to launch a kernel-based virtual machine (KVM) session, and allows them to perform out-of-band management tasks, including preboot access, BIOS updates, and installing an image from anywhere.

Through that single interface, IT administrators can manage a fleet of devices, securely access system information, including model numbers and BIOS versions, receive reports and develop different perspectives to optimize your infrastructure and solve problems before they affect your users.

Z by HP

In total we have four new ranges of workstations within the Z by HP family, ordered from lowest to highest performance: Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8 Fury. All of them are equipped with latest generation Intel processors and NVIDIA graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture which, as many of our readers will know, offer a high level of performance and have third-generation RT cores, specialized in ray tracing, and fourth-generation tensor cores, specialized in AI.

Regarding this important launch, Pablo Ugarte, general manager of HP Personal Systems, has commented:

“The Z by HP range offers the best computing experience possible to drive new levels of speed, precision and creativity. HP design engineering, along with the power of Intel and NVIDIA, provide the performance, scalability, and security our customers need to meet their needs today.”

For his part, Roger Chandler, Vice President and CEO of Intel, said:

Intel and Z by HP represent the future of high performance computing for work stations. With Intel Xeon W, users can expect top performance, advanced security features, and the scalability needed to tackle the most demanding workloads.”
