Huawei signs a collaboration agreement with Fundingbox to boost the startup ecosystem in Spain

Huawei has taken advantage of the setting of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to show its firm commitment to the startup ecosystem of our country. To this end, on the first day of the congress, it signed a contract with the FundingBox accelerator collaboration agreement which, according to both parties, aims to “accelerate business opportunities and global growth for innovative Spanish startups.”

The program is aimed at companies that are developing innovative products or solutions in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain or Web3 and seeks to ensure the transformation of the model of emerging companies towards the scaleups market.

To this end, both organizations are committed to collaborating both at a technological level (using, for example, the Huawei cloud and its applications and tools) and in the technical field, offering participating companies a launch platform from which to address the market. international or favoring its pitch before venture capital investors.

So far Fundingbox experts have participated in the acceleration of more than 490 startups throughout Europe and have supported more than 1,300 entrepreneurs. This program joins others for the development of startups such as Huawei Spark and with which the Asian multinational wants to become an international benchmark when it comes to offering new opportunities to innovative companies that are taking their first steps.
