Hybrid work is the preferred option for 66% of organizations

Teleworking has not gone away with the pandemic, rather it has adapted to a hybrid model. This is what emerges from the report prepared by the property management company, MVGM, which includes data and trends on its real estate assets.

The greater the number of employees, the more teleworking

Despite the fact that little by little companies resume the model in their offices, the trend to establish a hybrid model continues to be the favorite for companies.

It should be noted that, based on the size of the companies, the greater the number of employees, the use of modalities that include teleworking increases, either in hybrid or complete format, while the face-to-face model occurs especially in smaller companies. In the meantime, Madrid and Barcelona remain among the main European cities in hiring flexible spaces.

Adaptation to the current situation

Along these lines, despite the fact that the vast majority of companies continue to opt for a hybrid work model, many companies will have to review the models established during the pandemic to adapt them to the current circumstances. From there, the challenge for companies will be to find a balance between achieving maximum employee commitment and continuing to effectively transmit the company’s culture and values.

“The results of the office sector have not been impacted on contracting levels at the end of the first semester, despite the uncertain international economic situation. For their part, rents rose slightly compared to the same period of the previous year. However, the current economic situation, with rising interest rates in financing, will foreseeably affect the closing of investment operations in the last months of the year” explains Carlos González, spokesman for the MVGM Offices and Logistics area in Spain.

The demand of the logistics sector maintains a growing stability

Despite the fact that the instability of prices in supplies and fuels has generated concern about the increase in general expenses, logistics at the national level has maintained increasing stability in terms of demand in the sector.

At the fuel level, stability is consolidated for the types of Gasoline 95 and Diesel A in consumption. In addition, an increase of almost 2% in the consumption of gasoline compared to diesel has been identified. Since the end of last year, the price of both has not stopped rising, even in some sections of the year, surpassing the price of diesel to that of gasoline.

Likewise, the installation of safety measures greater energy savings and sustainability, have been consolidated especially in the production of solar energy. Proof of this is the increased production of megawatts due to this strong investment, which is consolidated in Catalonia with an increase of more than 50% in the production of renewable energy through the installation of photovoltaic panels.
