HyperX ProCast XLR, a professional microphone for streamers and influencers

HyperX ProCast XLR is the new microphone created by the brand of consumer-oriented products gaming and the spots of HP. This peripheral aims to deliver a professional experience by using a gold-plated large-diaphragm condenser.

Delving into the details, the HyperX ProCast is a professional-grade condenser microphone with an XLR1 connection, a cardioid polar pattern input, and a one-inch diaphragm condenser capsule with gold cathode coating. is specifically designed to streamers, influencers and other content creators looking for high quality sound capturemainly the voice, obviously.

Other features include a switchable -10dB PAD that allows the microphone to handle loud audio sources, and an 80Hz high-pass filter switch that helps reduce unwanted low frequencies. Additionally, the mic comes with a shock mount that reduces vibration noise and a detachable HyperX Shield metal pop filter that helps reduce rumble. Mount adapter fits 3/8 and 5/8 thread sizes and is compatible with most mounts and boom arms.

The HyperX ProCast has an intensity level of 140dBSPL, an RMS (noise) of -118dBV, a dynamic range of 123 decibels, a signal-to-noise ratio of 75 decibels, a sensitivity of -38± 3dBV (1V/Pa at1kHz), a frequency response of 20Hz~20kHz and an impedance of 160 amps. The weight of the microphone itself is 376 grams, while that of the shock mount and pop filter is 127 grams, so the device adds up to 503 grams in total.

The microphone will be sold through the retail market at a price of €299.99 and it would have to start being commercialized from the present month of October 2022. HyperX intends to show it at the TwitchCon that will be held from October 7 to 9 at booth number 1913 to show on-site their possibilities and capabilities.
