If you have this Apple Music plan, you can enjoy the great news

Apple has a very important novelty for Apple Music, and it can only be enjoyed if we have certain subscription plans. If you want to have more services, with more content, but paying the same as you were paying until now, today we will explain what this novelty consists of. And how can you have it?

The new Apple Music service

One of the great novelties of Apple, regarding its services, is the extension of Apple Music. Eight years after they presented their music service, now the company has decided to give it a new push, launching the new Apple Music Classical service. This new platform is not a completely new service, but rather an extension of the current Apple Music service, and it has its own independent application.

The new Apple Music Classical service is aimed at those people who like classical music, and it is not a service that “only” groups together the classical music songs that we already have on Apple Music, but in another application. This will have several differences with Apple Music, the first being an interface dedicated to searching for works by conductor or composer. In addition, we will have the possibility of knowing the works in great detail: when they were recorded, where, what version of the musical piece we are listening to, etc. thanks to complete metadata that we will be able to consult in each of the songs.

Although it is a separate application, with a much more specific service function, for Apple Music Classical we will need an Apple Music subscription plan. At least, for now, it doesn’t look like we have to sign up for a plan just for this new service. If we are already Apple Music subscribers, in principle, we can enjoy the new app. And that “in principle” is because not all Apple Music plans are going to be compatible. If we have contracted Apple Music Voice plan, we will not be able to access this new service. To listen to Apple Music Classical we will need one of the following plans:

  • Individual Plan: €10.99 per month
  • Family Plan: €16.99 per month
  • Student Plan: €5.99 per month
  • Apple One Single: €16.95 per month
  • Apple One Family: €22.95 per month
  • Apple One Premium: €31.95 per month

With the launch of the Apple Music Classical page in the App Store, we know many more details about what this new application is going to be, as well as device compatibility. We know that it will have a catalog of more than 5 million songs and exclusive albums. Also, what will be compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS version 15.4 installed. And that we will have an AirPlay system to transmit our music to different speakers. When it comes to sound quality, Apple takes it seriously. From the first day of release, the songs of the service can be heard up to High Resolution without loss (at 192 kHz / 24 bits), and we will have the Dolby Atmos audio system and spatial audio. And yes, all this, without having to pay more.
