How do I know if I can benefit from the bonus for the electricity bill?
All this based on the Public Income Indicator for Multiple Effects or Iprem of 14 payments. At the moment this reference is at 8,106.28 euros. In addition, here the number of people living in the household for which we want to request the bonus will also be very important. By this we mean that to save up to 40% when paying electricity we will have to meet the following economic requirements in our home.
In the first place and in the event that we live alone, it will be essential that our income does not exceed 16,212.56 euros. In this way we can benefit from that 40% reduction in the electricity bill. Moreover, if said income is below 12,159.42 euros, we will be able to access another social bonus with an even higher discount percentage. However, the situation and requirements mentioned change slightly in case we live with other members at home.
Here, in order to be able to benefit from this bonus that we are talking about, the total salary limit is family unit it increases by 2,431.88 euros for each member of legal age. This increase is in addition to the limit mentioned above. In addition, if minors also live together, the limit also increases by 4,053.14 euros for each one.
What is certain is that, if we meet these requirements in terms of our income, we will be able to obtain significant savings on the electricity bill, almost half, which most will surely appreciate.
