We know part of the past of this character thanks to the television series The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones. Indy was born on July 1, 1989 in Princeton, New Jersey. When he was still a boy, he sometimes accompanied his father, Henry Jones Senior, a professor of medieval literature whom we met in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The series deals with the character in a very anecdotal way, putting him in quite curious historical situations, such as knowing love for the first time at the age of eight, when he met the daughter of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, surviving the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 or even being captured in World War I by the Germans and fleeing from the hand of Charles de Gaulle. In any case, what we know through the movies is that he studied archeology at the University of Chicago and who would later dedicate his life to teaching, an activity that he divided with archaeological expeditions full of mysteries.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
To put us in a situation steven spielberg came from directing Shark (1979) and george lucas… little thing, Star Wars. It would have been rare if between these two geniuses —and very good friends— a true work of art had not come out.
In this first installment, a young Harrison Ford leaves the Millennium Falcon double parked and plays Henry Walton Jones, a archaeologist with hat and whip searching for ancient treasures and lost civilizations around the world. The idea of putting Indy’s father was Spielberg’s, while the Holy Grail and immortality had already been an element proposed by Lucas practically since the beginning of the saga.
Spielberg took on this project as a way of apologizing for the previous installment, as well as his way of close the character. It was one of the most successful films of all time, not only on the billboard, but also in awards, as it had three Oscar nominations, collecting a statuette.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
The fourth installment was a surprise, and although many of us took the film as a gift, many put it back and a half. Criticism aside, Indy, now a little older, is looking for a crystal skulla relic alien which must prevent it from falling into the hands of the Soviets, now that the Nazis are history and we are in the midst of Cold War.
The movie has very funny moments, starting with the character infiltrating Area 51 or surviving a nuclear explosion inside a refrigerator from the time. The movie swept the box office even though George Lucas had a different script for this occasion.
Indiana Jones 5 (2022)
Until nowSteven Spielberg he had led each and every installment of Indiana Jones. However, the filmmaker himself has decided step aside in this installmentand take over James Mangold, with works behind their backs like Le Mans 66, on the tightrope either Identity. The rest of the members remain intact. In what order to watch the Indiana Jones movies
You can watch the Indiana Jones movie series exactly in the order that they were released and there would be no problem.
