The Inovato Quadra is a Linux based mini PC that incorporates an ARM chip, and that has a very interesting approach since it is very cheap. Externally we can see that it has a simple design with angular nuances, and that it has a fairly good range of connectivity for its price. On the sides we have an HDMI output, a USB 3.0 Type-A connector, a USB 2.0 Type-A, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a microSD card slot.
It also has Wi-Fi 4, although does not include Bluetooth, which means that if we are going to need to have this type of wireless connection we will have to resort to a USB adapter. In any case, it is not a problem, especially considering the price-performance value offered by this equipment.
The brain of the Innovato Quadra is a Allwinner H6 SoC, which incorporates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor running at a frequency of 1.7 GHz. It is not the most powerful in its class, but it should be enough to achieve good performance with basic applications and tasks. It is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, enough to move numerous Linux distros, it has 16 GB of storage capacity and it comes with Debian 11.
This model has a sale price of 29 euros, a very good figure for what it offers, and with this equipment we could create a specific workspace focused on basic tasks, such as text editing for example, with a minimum cost. There is also a higher version, known as Inovato Quadra Plus, which maintains the basic features of the previous one and adds a USB HUB with four connectors and connectivity Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.
There is no doubt that these additions represent a considerable improvement in terms of performance, but as you may have imagined, it also ends up affecting the price, which goes up to 40 euros.
