Intel already sells its laptop graphics, but… only in Korea!

We know, you are waiting for laptops with Intel graphics cards to hit stores to see prices, features and thus be able to decide whether to buy one or not. Well, we are sorry to tell you that you are going to have to wait because not only are they going to be late, but on top of that there are other parts of the world that will get ahead of us with it. And it is that now we know that Intel is already selling its ARC charts in South Koreabut is it a regional release or just a necessity?

The end of March will be remembered as a time where Intel said “now” and nothing got done. Performance expectations were no less than arrival time and are clearly not being met, at least for much of the world, as delays are now also coming from regional restrictions.

Intel ARC Alchemist Mobile Graphics – Only in Korea!

The problem of not having a temporary plot line is that “where I said, I say, I say Diego” arrives and it is possibly an error that should be eradicated if what you want to show is decision and commitment. But this is not going well for Intel, since after two delays whose justifications have been vague, now we must add two new controversies no less surprising.

Last week we already saw the tweet where Intel itself stated that its GPUs would arrive in the second quarter of this year, that is, almost three months after presenting them in the worst case.

Of course, as soon as we give this a spin, he didn’t say that GPUs would be delayed, so everything was up in the air.

Well, once we put the script online we have a new notch in the revolver where a new actor is introduced: Samsung. And it is that as we well know the ARC Alchemist will also arrive in the new Galaxy Book2 Pro with the GPU A350M and there turns the whole argument and the problem.

Charts only for South Korea and Samsung

For some unknown reason, only Samsung and said team have the new graphics cards from the blue giant available with the addition that they are only marketed in that country and apparently cannot be exported.

This obviously opens a lot of questions and at the same time has cleared up many others, so let’s go with the latter first. The best thing about this fact that has been given is that we know the performance of the A350M, which would be just below the NVIDIA GTX 1650.

intel officially announces its intel arc gaming graphics cards for laptops

It is not a great performance without a doubt, but it seems that the drivers were not too well optimized either because there were performance inconsistencies and therefore, this can be improved and it was one of the arguments that Intel gave for the first delay of these GPUs, so that could be right.

With that said, let’s get to the questions. Why does Samsung arrive first and restrict its sale? Is the delay due to problems with the manufacturers or the distribution of the equipment? And finally, is it Intel’s fault or the manufacturers themselves? The pull of South Korea may have been much greater than in the rest of the world and that has made Intel prioritize this market hand in hand with Samsung, but this is speculation and we assume that we will never know.

Meanwhile, the graphics cards do not reach the stores with the input laptops and the weeks are running…
