Intel introduces its ARC A-Series graphics cards for laptops

The first Intel graphics cards are already a reality after their official presentation. These graphics cards in recent months have given much to talk about, especially their performance. The Intel Arc A-Series They will be integrated into laptops, but we will also see variants for desktop computers and workstations. A complete range of products that wants to compete with NVIDIA and AMD solutions.

We all know Intel for being the largest processor manufacturer in the world. The integrated graphics of its processors have always left a lot to be desired. Something they set out to correct and even launch dedicated solutions. For this they recruited Raja Koduriwho worked at AMD on the development of the Polaris and Vega graphics cards, and laid the foundation for the company’s current graphics cards.

These new graphics cards have a name that is quite reminiscent of the range of Intel Core processors. The simplest solutions Intel they will be called ARC 3the middle range will be called ARC 5 and the high range will be called ARC 7.

Within the entry range we have the ARC A350M that has 6 Xe Cores and 6 Ray Tracing Units. These graphics cards have a frequency of 1150Mz. This graphics card is accompanied by 4GB of GDDR6 RAM and a 64-bit memory bus. Intel highlights that these graphics will have a consumption between 25-35W, which will vary according to the manufacturer’s criteria.

Still within the input range, but slightly above, we have the ARC A370M. This graph has 8 Xe Cores and 8 Ray Tracing Units. The frequency of this GPU increases up to 1550MHz. It also has 4GB of GDDR6 memory with a 64-bit memory bus. Consumption also rises, being between 35-50W.

For the mid-range we have the graphics card ARC A550M. This graphics card has 16 Xe Cores and 16 Ray Tracing Units. The working frequency is striking, only 900MHz. The amount of VRAM memory is increased, having 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit memory bus. Consumption will be between 60-80W.

For the high end we have the ARC A730M. This graphics card has 24 Xe Cores and 24 Ray Tracing Units working at a frequency of 1100MHz. This graphics card comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory and a 192-bit memory bus. It will have a consumption between 80-120W.

Finally, we have the graphics card ARC A770M. It is characterized by having 32 Xe Cores and 32 Ray Tracing Units working at a frequency of 1650MHz. This graphics card arrives with 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. Consumption ranges between 120-150W.

When will these charts hit the market?

According to Intel, the ARC 3 will hit the market right now, so the first laptops with these graphics should appear shortly. The ARC 5 and ARC 7 would be released in the summer, so there is still time to see them on the market.
