Intel prepares for a very intense first quarter

As every year, CES 2023 will open its doors when the taste of New Year’s Eve dinner still lingers in our taste buds, and Intel is one of the companies that takes advantage of the macro fair (the largest in the sector for years) to carry out a good bunch of ads. And although there is no official confirmation on which chips will be released during the event, we already know that it will be the time of the debut of the 13th generation Raptor Lake chipsets for laptops, that is, the H, P and U series. And practically parallel to his announcement, we can also expect some assemblers to announce their first devices based on these new chips.

Thus, while waiting for the announcements, for the moment we can do something by mouth with the rumors, and in this regard one has just been produced, a leak, which is signed by FTAwhich has a good history of successes in this regard, and which presents us with a most interesting first quarter, with the following announcements and launches:

Additionally, also for the first quarter of 2023, the announcement of the Intel Core i9-13900KS 6 GHz is expected, a top-of-the-range CPU that will set a new maximum in Intel integrated performance for the home market. There is no planned, yes, exact date neither for its announcement nor for its launch.

With the arrival of the Raptor Lake for laptops we will be able to complete, one more year, the arrival of the new generation of Intel chips. This does not mean, of course, that new announcements will not be produced in the coming months, but it does mean that we will already have a fairly complete vision of it and, probably, from that point on, the prominence of rumors and leaks will Meteor Lake, the fourteenth generation that will debut, except for surprises, between September and October 2023.
