Impress is a Spanish company, specialized in the so-called invisible braces. The startup is committed to the latest technology to offer the best possible service to its customers, which consists of three steps before it goes live.

First of all, they have free dental checkup at the patient’s nearest clinic, where a 3D scanner is obtained free of charge. Then they provide a personalized video showing what the new smile will look like. Subsequently, individualized and medically supervised treatment begins thanks to monitoring via mobile phone.

Impress ensures that one of its goals is not to compromise on health or quality, which is why it exclusively hires qualified dentists and orthodontists, going beyond traditional 3D scans.

All of its professionals are experts in orthodontics and thanks to their knowledge of tooth movement and their experience in treating thousands of cases, they are able to treat complex cases related to bite correction and also address situations of adolescents with invisible orthodontics and braces. Likewise, all its processes are completely digitized thanks to its own product and software.

Round of 122 million euros

In early August 2022, Impress closed a Series B funding round for a value of 122 million euros. It had the support of LBO France, Norgine Ventures, Claret Capital Partners and digital media companies. Existing investors TA Ventures, Uniqa Ventures and Nickleby Capital also participated in the round.

This HealthTech startup has 110 open clinicspresence in eight countries and more of 900 employees on an international level. Likewise, it has also recently diversified its services, entering the teens segment with the opening of Impress Teens, two clinics located in Madrid and Barcelona specializing in treatments for young people and adolescents.

In February 2023, it completed its last operation, which was the purchase of the main brand of visible aligners in the United Kingdom, Diamond Whites, worth more than 30 million euros.
