IPM grows in 2022 thanks to the cloud, data centers and cybersecurity

IPM, a Ricoh company, has confirmed that it expects to grow above 10% this year 2022 in Iberia due to the boost of its transformation services. Specifically, its data center, cloud and security services. Adding the benefits of Pamafe and Totalstor in Portugal, the company expects to achieve its objective of billing 85 million euros in Iberia.

The company focuses above all on the private sector, which concentrates 70% of its activity. It is one of the leading integrators of Dell-EMC and VMware virtualization and storage systems. In its history in the Spanish market, the company has consolidated its activity in sectors such as industry, health, pharmacy and banking. In addition, it has participated in projects for municipalities and autonomous communities, where it has implemented digitization solutions focused on data storage and protection in the cloud and in private environments.

According to him General Director of IPM, a Ricoh Company, for Spain and Portugal, Miquel Solerthe current competitive environment is «a complex moment, in which a high demand for new technologies coincides, important European funds to allocate to innovation projects and supply problems, and interruptions in the supply chain, aggravated by the pandemic first and the war later. Our positioning and excellent certification, as specialists in Dell-EMC and VMware environments, allows us to respond to the challenges of the largest entities around the world”.

Soler has also underlined that the company has «a very good growth forecast for the coming months, although it is clearly conditioned by general uncertainty at the macroeconomic level. The projects financed with European funds are still in the approval process, although we have already begun to execute part of what has been generated in the last quarter. In addition, at an international level, some investments have been paralyzed that we believe will end up arriving, without a doubt, in the coming months.

In the company they point out that both large and medium-sized companies have a multitude of legacy systems that they must evolve, and change for other systems to access thanks to digitization and the cloud, among others. In fact, regarding medium-sized companies, Soler points out that they will have to invest in IT «much more in the coming years, since it is the only way to guarantee its growth and, for IPM, it will be a great opportunity, due to our technical qualification, experience and service capacity, especially in hybrid environments, where traditional systems converge with the most modern applications and Cloud environments».

From now on, as part of its strategy, the main objective of IPM, a Ricoh Company, will be to continue growing in relevance as developers of cloud solutions. In addition, they will also seek to position themselves based on what they consider their greatest differential value: they are the only ones to achieve the 5 VMware Master Competencies in the Peninsula. They are also the partners of Dell Technologies with its highest certification in the world.
