Isabel Busto, deputy director of Zucchetti Spain, is the new President of CONFEBASK

The deputy general manager of Zucchetti Spain, Elizabeth Busthas become the new President of the Basque Business Confederation (Confebask) until the summer of 2023, taking over from Eduardo Zubiaurre, who has had to leave the presidency for health reasons. The deputy director general of Zucchetti, who held the position of vice president of Confebask and the Gipuzkoa business association (Adegi) He had already been exercising the role of acting president of the organization of Basque businessmen, since last May.

Isabel Busto Pozuelo, who has an extensive professional career, is Computer Engineer from the UPV/EHU, has an Executive MBA from the University of Deusto and a PhD in Business Competitiveness and Economic Development from the same university. She is currently Deputy General Manager of Zucchetti Spain, a company that develops ERP-CRM software solutions and Human Resources management software, among other solutions, where she has developed her professional career.

Confebask, the Confederation of Basque Entrepreneurs, is a member of the CEOE and the rest of the European and international business organizations that represent the general interests of businessmen, among which is also the European employers’ association Business Europe.
