Specifically, we are referring to an interesting open source project that provides us with a good number of integrated applications for all of this. This is a program that will barely take up disk space and that we will only additionally install those tools that we are really going to need. The most interesting thing about all this is that we have more than 50 applications and scripts focused on improving the operating system, it is XToolBox.
Its low weight and disk space is largely due to the simple user interface it provides. We must bear in mind that this is an application that will be useful both in Windows 10 as in the latest version of the system, Windows 11. Once we have downloaded and launched the program in our system, the aforementioned simple user interface will show the different optimization functions that we can use.
At first we are going to find an interface separated into four columns, each of them is entered in a type of use of the program. Each category is assigned a letter and below it we find the different tools, each with a number. Therefore, to start the application that interests us, all we have to do is type the corresponding letter and number. The categories that we find are: optimize, touch up, applications and cleaning.

As we mentioned before, depending on what we need, when selecting the corresponding XToolBox tool, it will be installed and loaded on our computer. In this way we do not waste unnecessary space on the disk drives and we will have the tools we need at our disposal. In turn, we can find some options marked in a certain color that have a meaning.
Those tools marked in red are those that may represent some type of risk for our team. Likewise, those marked in green are those recommended for the running on our PC. We can also find some that have the characters DNGR next to its name, which means that it could affect the version of Windows we have installed. That does not mean that they will damage it, but it may be the case, hence the warning.
From there we will only have to take a look at all the tools and scripts available in XToolBox to evaluate the ones we need. Depending on the behavior of our operating system, we may need to use some optimization or cleaning function.
