The first teaser trailer of Jurassic World: Dominion, new film in the Jurassic franchise that will complete the sequel trilogy of the saga Jurassic Park.
The promotional video was published by Universal Pictures and anticipates the first full trailer coming during the IMAX screenings of Fast and Furious 9.
The images show us a world dominated by dinosaurs now free to move and move around the planet as a consequence of the events that happened in Jurassic World: the destroyed kingdom, the 2019 film that followed the first Jurassic World of 2015.
Colin Trevorrow, director of the film as well as the first film of 2015, called Dominion as a celebration of the entire franchise:
For me Dominion is the culmination of a story that has been told. By the end of the first Jurassic Park trilogy, it may not have been so clear what the full story of those three films was because they were a bit more episodic in the way the facts were told.
But this trilogy is different: it’s like a serial story. What was important to me is that when you watch Dominion you feel like you are learning a story that starts from the first film, leading the viewer to understand how it all happened and how it all came about.
If six Jurassic Park movies are presented to the children who are born today, the hope is that the parents will buy them the box set – you hope they will feel it as if they are witnessing a long story.
