Kanye West’s new album exclusively streamed by Apple Music to be released on August 6

Kanye West urges Tidal and Apple Music to reach an agreement

Last week the singer Kanye West presented his new album called Donda at the Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta, an album that in theory should already be on the market, but for reasons that no one knows, it will not do so until the next 6 of August.

This event, which started 110 minutes late, was broadcast live and exclusively through Apple Music, an event that according to TMZ had an audience of 3.3 million people live, breaking all previous records for this platform as it represents more than double its previous record.

Following Kanye’s tenth album promotion live event, fans have been waiting for the release of this new album. Since that date, Kanye has kept silence on social networks, which caused Twitter to be inundated with a large number of memes that tried to find the reason for the delay in the launch.

At the moment we do not know if Kanye West will initially offer this new album through Apple Music exclusively. Former basketball player Justin LaBoy says Kanye wants to deliver the highest quality possible and is currently mixing and mastering the new album.

He also states that it is likely that this new album will not be released exclusively on Apple Music, but that from August 6, it will be available on all streaming music platforms. The latter makes more sense since neither Apple nor Kanye have announced that there is an exclusivity agreement.
