Kill Bill 3: Quentin Tarantino is open to the idea of a third film, while thinking of a western comedy

Fans of Quentin Tarantino I’m waiting to find out what the director’s next film will be, as there is a good chance it will be the last one as well. And while Tarantino recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the director Dario Argento, at the Rome Film Festival, it seems that Kill Bill 3 is not entirely to be excluded from the list of possibilities.

While at the festival, the director explained that he has no idea what his near future might be, and when asked this might include making Kill Bill 3, the director replied: “Why not?”

However, it seems that, to deal with Kill Bill 3 in Tarantino’s mind, there is also a completely different film that he would like to make, namely a western comedy.

Quentin Tarantino’s next film? It could be Kill Bill 3 (but also a western comedy)

Tarantino is currently writing a film criticism book and (possibly) a TV series, but speaking on the talk show of Fabio Fazio revealed: “First, I want to make a comedy”.

He spoke of the idea a little later, during a conversation with the head of the Rome Film Festival, Antonio Monda:

“It’s a piece of something else that I’m thinking of doing and I’m not going to explain what it is. But as part of that, there should be a Spaghetti Western ”.

“I can’t wait to shoot that (thing) because it’s going to be really fun. Because I want to shoot it Spaghetti Western style, where everyone speaks a different language. The Mexican Bandido is an Italian; the hero is an American; the bad sheriff is a German; the Mexican girl in the saloon is Israeli. And they all speak a different language. And (the actors) will only know, “OK, when he’s done talking then I’ll be able to talk.”

As for Tarantino’s next film, there are still no indications as to what it will be, but surely many would like to see the third film of the Kill Bill saga made; just as I imagine a new western comedy could be interesting.

We’re still talking about Tarantino, aren’t we?
