Komi Can’t Communicate 2: a teaser announces the second season of the anime

Komi Can’t Communicate, the anime based on the manga of Tomohito Oda it has just ended after the broadcast of the last episode which already sees the official announcement of the second season.

Below we can admire the short teaser in which Komi’s schoolmates have set up a kind of advertising set just to announce the production of season 2.

When is the second season of Komi Can’t Communicate coming out?

The nice promotional video also reveals that Komi Can’t Communicate 2 will debut next spring, in April 2022.

Recently adapted in Japan also in a live action series, Komi Can’t Communicate tells the story of a beautiful high school student, admired by everyone and popular in her school, who, however, struggles to communicate with others and make friends.

Kazuki Kawagoe directed the anime under the direction of Ayumu Watanabe (After The Rain, The Children of the Sea) at the OLM studio. Deko Akao (Noragami, Flying Witch, Akagami no Shirayuki Hime) took care of the composition of the series, while Atsuko Nakajima (Hakuouki: Dawn of the Shinsengumi, Ranma ½, Tokyo Ghoul: re) took care of the character design of the characters.

It’s Shouko Komi’s first day at the prestigious Itan high school and the beautiful girl is already the most envied and admired in the school. With long black hair and a graceful appearance, Komi catches the attention of anyone who meets her. There’s only one problem: Despite her popularity and the fact that no one can take their eyes off her, Shouko has a hard time communicating with others.

Hitohito Tadano is your typical average high school kid. Following his motto “keep your eyes open and make sure you stay out of trouble,” he quickly discovers that sitting next to Shouko has drawn envy and hatred from his own class. Hitohito realizes that, perhaps, Shouko has some difficulty in speaking easily with others: in fact she has never been able to make a single friend.

Hitohito thus decides to help Shouko with the aim of meeting a hundred friends so that he can overcome his communication disorder.

Komi Can’t Communicate debuted in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2016, with the work currently counting 20 volumes. In Italy, the manga is published by J-POP Manga it’s at THIS ADDRESS you can retrieve the volumes published so far.
